Do Something Different
I did not realise just how sweaty trampolining could be.
Today my friends Ant, Max and I went to the Warwick Jump In Arena and bounced
around like the big kids we truly are for an hour. It was quite possibly the
most fun cardio I have ever done. Jumping into a giant air bag, battling it out
on the beam, diving (NOT head first that would be naughty) into the foam pit, succeeding
and failing at flips (Ant and Max) for an hour is a workout and a half.
Finding your most likeminded friends means that you can try fun,
new activities together. Trampolining is a relatively cheap thing to do, it
cost us £12 for an hour and a pair of ridiculous Spiderman-like socks. You
would probably spend that much at the cinema or going out for drinks. I got to
spend time with my friends whilst having great fun and getting a little bit
fitter. It would also be a great thing to do as a family, a way to get
everybody involved and out of the house.
If you didn’t fancy trampolining other things you could try
are bowling, rock climbing, a high ropes course, an outdoors adventure trail,
paintballing, hiking or a bike ride? Some of these things would be pricier than
others but there are so many things to try which get you up and moving about.
